We consider our software to be an international project – and there already are a few different languages like Dutch, French and of course English and German. But wouldn’t it be cool to have much more languages to choose from? Maybe even your language?<\/p>\n

If you are multilingual, we would like to ask for your help. You already know our software, you know how to shift the gears and that enables you to translate the functions of SlideShow 9 (and Stages) into your own language.<\/p>\n

Join our translation project!<\/p>\n

You don’t have to translate everything on your own. You and other collaborate – each one of you contributes a part of the whole translation. Just start a language pack or correct the translations that already exist. The more people there are to work together, the better we get and more and more language packs will become available.<\/p>\n

Visit our translation website (link). There you will get an overview on all the translations that have already been started or even completed.
\nThe progress of our current translations vary – most of get updated constantly. You will also see wich user(s) contributed to each translation – a great big THANKS! to Dominique F., Ingootje and Alfred S.!<\/p>\n

Various stages of completeness<\/p><\/div>\n

Nothing is meant to last forever.When we develop the software further, say add a dialogue or add a functiontionlity, the translation isn’t at 100% anymore. Don’t be afraif of this, your translation will stay the same. Just revisit the translation page and add those few words again.<\/p>\n

Translation with Pootle.<\/p><\/div>\n

For the translation, we use a tool called “Pootle”. You don’t need to install an extra software for this.
